ECFS’s Case Study Project 2020

The World Bank and the Eurasian Center for Food Security are pleased to announce the fifth round of Food Policy Case Studies contest. Proposals for case studies are invited on various topics that address the impact of COVID-19 crisis on food and nutrition security in the Eurasian region.
The objective of the call for proposals is to:
  • generate policy-relevant evidence and identify policy options to alleviate the food and nutrition security impacts of the COVID-19 crisis;
  • foster collaboration between researchers in the Eurasia region in the area of food security and food policy research.
This call is open to researchers, lecturers and professors from Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with an active research agenda in food and nutrition security.

Authors of successful applications will be invited to participate in online case studies writing training. Those who have successfully passed the training and the outline review are eligible for publication of the case and for remuneration.
